Good luck to all those brave souls participating in NaNoWriMo.
Personally, I plan to use the time to FINISH a children's middle grade novel I started a long time ago and which stalled out after 30 pages. Wish me luck. Not as difficult as writing 50,000 words from scratch, right? Ha. You don't know me.
What about all you writers out there? Participating? Revising an existing novel? (INTERN has a great post about this.) Or just getting your head in gear to even think about writing a novel? It's a daunting task.
Yeah! Im doing nanorevismo!
ReplyDeleteDid you hear there is a Nanorebel component? I read about it from Inkyelbow's twitter posts. You can still participate using a WIP, under the Rebel category. I may do that, 'cause I have no new story in me right now.
ReplyDeleteGood luck! I'm just attempting to finish my novel. Not horribly daunting (I have 2.5 chapters left) but it's definitely working at a faster pace than usual. (One chapter usually takes 3 weeks for me to write. I marinate a lot.)
ReplyDeleteYay, Frankie! I did see that on your blog.
ReplyDeleteAnd Kim, I didn't even know about Nanorebel and I usually read Inkyelbow. Did you see that she mentioned Tara Lazar's post about PiBoIdMo (picture book idea month)? AGH. THAT's what I should be doing. But I'd really like to finish this novel first.
Donna, I love your comment about marinating a lot. That's exactly what I do. Just never called it that!
