Loved your review. I'm not a fan of books in verse either but am excited to read Caroline's book.
ReplyDeleteThis is one I am really looking forward to reading. Thanks for sharing it!
ReplyDeleteHi Natalie! And thanks.
ReplyDeleteDeb, it's definitely worth reading!
Thanks so much, Joanne!
ReplyDeleteI am excited to read this one! And just slightly jealous that you already have.
ReplyDeleteI have May B. on my Kindle and can't wait to read it. I plan to do my review + a guest post closer to her release date. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the review! I'm looking forward to this one.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Caroline!
ReplyDeleteAh, sorry, Barbara! Hope you get to read it soon.
Hi Shannon. Sounds like quite a few of us are reviewing MAY B. That's great for Caroline and for the book!
Hi Myrna. Hope you get to read it soon.
Awww I loved your review.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know there are MG books written in verse. Boy! do I have a lot to learn.
I think I have it on my goodreads but I'm going to make sure I do because your review made it that much more appealing to me. :)
I've never been drawn to novels in prose (although I did read Love That Dog when it first came out, if that counts, and thought it was adorable).
ReplyDeleteThis is odd b/c I have an MFA in poetry, write poetry, and teach poetry. Perhaps it's just the idea of narrative poetry I'm not drawn to.
In any case, I've decided to at least give on of these books a try, so I'll make it this one. :-)
Thanks, Akoss!
ReplyDeleteDanika, I hope you do give it a try. And how interesting that you're a poet but are not drawn to narrative poetry.
And, sure, Love That Dog counts!
Oh, I can't wait for this book to come out. I love reading stories set on the early American prairie. Great review!
ReplyDeleteCan I just say, I heart this cover. HEART it. That's with a capital H. Great review Joanne. I'm excited to read this.
ReplyDeleteI've heard great things about the book. :D
ReplyDeleteHi Jennifer! Less than two months now.
ReplyDeleteHaha, Brooke. Yes, it's an excellent cover. I'm so happy for Caroline.
Hi Stina! And it deserves everything you've heard.
Caroline is one of my fellow Project Mayhemmers and I'm really excited for this book release!
ReplyDeleteOff to read your review on the other site.
That's great, Michael!
